順酐在涂料方面的應(yīng)用主要是醇酸樹脂涂料和氨基樹脂涂料。醇酸樹脂涂料是18大類涂料中消費(fèi)量大的一類，產(chǎn)量和消費(fèi)量約占涂料總量的三分之一。醇酸樹脂具有良好的附著力、光澤度和抗腐蝕等性能，廣泛用于建筑涂裝、機(jī)械和汽車涂裝、家俱以及防腐涂裝；氨基樹脂涂料也有良好的硬度、光澤和保光保色性能，廣泛用于輕工家電產(chǎn)品的裝飾涂裝。2003年全國(guó)醇酸樹脂涂料和氨基樹脂涂料的產(chǎn)量估計(jì)為75萬噸，消耗順酐約1.14萬噸。預(yù)計(jì)“十一五”期間，醇酸樹脂涂料和氨基樹脂涂料仍將是涂料行業(yè)的主力品種，水性涂料、粉末涂料、高固體分涂料等低污染型涂料將以較快的速度發(fā)展，但所占比重不會(huì)有太大的變化。

It is expected that alkyd resin coating and amino resin coating will still be the main varieties in the coating industry during the "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" period. Water-based coating, powder coating, high-solid coating and other energy-saving and low-pollution coatings will develop at a faster speed, but the proportion will not change much.
酒石酸

酒石酸主要用作食品酸味劑，其鹽類用作鏡子鍍銀和金屬處理。在紡織工業(yè)中，酒石酸也可用在制革和電訊器材行業(yè)。

年L-型和dl-型酒石酸產(chǎn)能估計(jì)約1.1萬噸，產(chǎn)量約8500噸，消耗順酐約7900噸。由于近年來美國(guó)和日本的L-型酒石酸商向轉(zhuǎn)移投資，使國(guó)內(nèi)L-型酒石酸產(chǎn)品產(chǎn)能迅速增長(zhǎng)。目前國(guó)內(nèi)L-型酒石酸年產(chǎn)能已達(dá)到1萬噸以上，dl-型酒石酸產(chǎn)品的年產(chǎn)能也達(dá)到約2萬噸。

潤(rùn)滑油添加劑

目前潤(rùn)滑油添加劑產(chǎn)品中以無灰分散劑和金屬清凈劑為主，占潤(rùn)滑油添加劑總消費(fèi)量的70%，其中只有無灰分散劑的需要消耗順酐。
At present, ash-free dispersant and metal detergent are the main products of lubricating oil additives, accounting for 70% of the total consumption of lubricating oil additives. Only the production of ash-free dispersant needs to consume maleic anhydride.
農(nóng)藥

順酐在農(nóng)藥中，主要用于殺蟲劑，包括有機(jī)磷殺蟲劑如馬拉硫磷和達(dá)凈松，以及除蟲菊酯殺蟲劑如胺菊酯。
